Competition & Showcase Information

Elementary School We the People State Showcase

When: May 2, 2025 

Where: Indiana Statehouse, 200 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46204 

The Indiana Bar Foundation is pleased to invite elementary school (5th and 6th grade) We The People teachers and students to attend a showcase at the Indiana Statehouse. Students in attendance will have the opportunity to participate in simulated congressional hearings in actual state House or Senate hearing rooms! 

Hearings will be judged by a panel of volunteers, comprised of legal professionals and educators from across the state. This event is FREE and lunch will be provided. Participation is limited to the first 5 classes to register.
