We the People Summer Institute Brings Cross Section of Indiana Educators Together

More than 40 Indiana educators along with national presenters will participate in the annual Indiana Bar Foundation Summer Institute. The five day professional development experience allows Indiana high, middle, and elementary school teachers to learn in-depth content and teaching strategies for important concepts that will be taught in government, history, or social studies classes. These topics will also aid We the People teachers in presenting the curriculum and preparing for the simulated congressional hearing authentic assessments, which will be a focused of the institute.

Attendees will receive lodging and meals, a classroom set of We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution textbooks, a teacher library worth $75, and 26 hours of professional growth points.
