We’re thrilled to welcome our newest members to the Indiana Bar Foundation Board of Directors! Jenny Buchheit, Shelley Jackson, and Andrew Soshnick bring fresh energy and diverse skills that will enrich our team during their first term over the next two years. Jenny Buchheit is the leader of the firm’s Appellate Practice Group. She currently focuses her practice on appellate advocacy, class action and multidistrict defense, and business litigation as their Senior Counsel.
Jenny represents clients at both the trial and appellate levels in a wide range of business and commercial matters, including cases involving consumer fraud, breach of warranty, negligence, contract disputes, and an insurer’s duty to defend and indemnify. She focuses much of her work on defending companies in both state and national putative class actions, including cases relating to Bisphenol-A in baby bottles; lead in children’s products; deprivation of Medicaid benefits; and consumer
fraud/breach of contract allegations. Jenny also has experience litigating products liability, construction, and asbestos cases.
Jenny is a proud graduate of Purdue University, with a Bachelor’s degree in secondary English education and a minor in history. Prior to attending law school, she was an English teacher at Jefferson High School in Lafayette, Ind. Jenny was recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for her work in appellate law, and she was previously named a Rising Star by Indiana Super Lawyers. She is admitted to practice in Indiana and numerous Circuit Courts of Appeals.
Shelley M. Jackson serves as Krieg DeVault’s Labor and Employment Practice Chair. Her practice includes employment law, professional license defense, and data privacy and security, with a health care industry focus.
Shelley frequently handles regulatory compliance and enforcement matters before administrative bodies, including the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, and U.S. Department of Labor. She is also a seasoned litigator, with more than a decade of trial and appellate court experience.
Outside the firm, Shelley serves as an advisory board member with Reveal Risk, on the board of directors with The Milk Bank, and as a member of IU McKinney School of Law’s Black Alumni Council. She also writes and speaks on a wide range of topics.
Andrew Soshnick is a Partner at Faegre Drinker. He offers steady and effective counsel to individuals and companies facing complex financial issues in both divorce and business disputes. Drew is a trial lawyer with extensive experience representing high net worth business owners, executives, professionals, athletes, celebrities, public figures, or their spouses in divorce and other disputes involving sophisticated valuation issues. He also frequently represents companies, officers, directors and owners in high-stakes, sophisticated business valuation disputes. Drew routinely analyzes business and professional practice valuations and examines financial experts at trial.
