Join the Indiana Bar Foundation for a free, afterschool, online workshop to help you teach We the People, social studies, and civics in your classroom. On September 12, 4:00-6:00 pm ET, join Dr. Damani Philips, professor of Jazz and African American Studies from the University of Iowa, as he presents Using Music as a Teaching Tool for Your Civil Rights Lessons. Following Dr. Phillips, Adam Ferguson, teacher from Plainfield High School, will demonstrate the effective integration of music as a primary source into social studies classes using classroom-tested lessons. Visit this link to learn more and to register.
