Orlowski Family Creates Lasting Legacy with $25,000 Endowed Fund

The Indiana Bar Foundation (Foundation) is pleased to announce the establishment of the Orlowski Family Fund, created by longtime Foundation supporters Alex and Katie Orlowski with an initial gift of $25,000.

The endowed fund reflects the Orlowskis longstanding commitment to the Foundation and its mission to inspire and lead change to improve civic education and legal assistance for all Hoosiers. The fund will support the Foundation’s area of greatest need, providing flexibility to direct resources where they can make a meaningful difference.

“Alex and Katie have generously given their time, leadership and financial support to the Foundation for many years,” said Charles Dunlap, President & CEO of the Indiana Bar Foundation. “This fund is a meaningful extension of that commitment and creates a legacy that will benefit the Foundation and Hoosiers for generations to come.”

Alex and Katie are longtime financial supporters of the Foundation and members of its Keystone Society, and they also volunteer their time in support of the Foundation’s civic education programs. Most recently, they sponsored a Seat for Everyone table at the Foundation’s 75th Anniversary Gala. In June, Alex concluded ten years of service on the Foundation’s Board of Directors, including two years as Board Chair.

The Orlowski Family Endowed Fund builds upon that history of service and philanthropy while creating a lasting source of support for the Foundation’s future. Family, friends, businesses, and others may also make additional gifts to the fund to support the Orlowski legacy today.
