Since its humble beginnings in 1950, the Indiana Bar Foundation has emerged as a statewide and national leader in expanding civic education and contributing to an accessible civil legal system for all Indiana residents.
The Indiana Bar Foundation inspires and leads change to improve civic education and legal assistance for all Hoosiers.
To be the premier statewide charitable organization and trusted partner advancing civic literacy and the legal system.
Greetings! I’m Chuck Dunlap, President & CEO of the Indiana Bar Foundation, welcoming you to our website. I’m excited to announce our first Civics Summit, set for April 13 in Indianapolis. This event will focus on the ways civics involves education, business, and the legal community. I encourage you to check back frequently to stay apprised of the Summit and all we are doing. The Foundation is proud to have this resource connecting visitors to Indiana Legal Help and other civil legal assistance programs like IOLTA, Civic Education Programs like We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution and Mock Trial, Foundation news, including our monthly newsletter, and ways to support the Foundation financially and through volunteering. As always, thank you for supporting the Indiana Bar Foundation.
